Nigeria National League gets sponsor, to air live matches

The Nigeria National League (NNL) will announce its sponsor for the 2020/2021 season within one month.

The CEO Sajo Mohammed told the news reporters that the development would boost the competition and level of play.

The NNL chief also announced plans to broadcast live matches to a global audience.

Mohammed stressed that football is a serious business that requires funding.

“We have found an organisation that has indicated an interest in sponsoring the league.

“The company is knowledgeable about football and its benefits in the long run.

“I believe that in the next few weeks, they will be officially unveiled”, he said.

The 2020/2021 NNL season kicked off on February 13. There are 46 participating clubs.
