The Nigerian, who is also the second case of the coronavirus in Nigeria has tested negative.
The Nigerian Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, has said this on Friday in a press briefing in Abuja.
He said the second patient, who earlier tested positive for coronavirus, has now tested negative.
The second case was said to have had direct contact with the index case, the Italian who flew into Lagos from Milan, Italy and proceeded to Ewekoro, Ogun State, South-West Nigeria.
The Minister also said that the index case is also responding to treatment and may be discharged soon.
