Nigerian female doctor Eleanor Nwadinobi was recently elected the first Nigerian president of the Medical Women International Association.
Last Sunday, friends and associates of Dr. Eleanor Nwadinobi organized a reception in her honour in Abuja.
Among dignitaries who graced the occasion were the former governor of Anambra State Peter Obi, the minister of Women Affairs Paulen Tallen, wife of Abia State governor Ngozi Ikpeazu and the president of the Abuja chapter of the Medical Women Association, Dr. Aisha Umaru.
Dr. Umaru acknowledged that the new president of the Medical Women’s Global Association has contributed immensely to the growth of the Abuja chapter.
Other guests also congratulated Dr Nwadinobi on her election.
Dr. Eleanor Nwadinobi said that she only deployed her energy to the medical profession and never knew that the Medical Women International Association was considering her for such a leadership position.
Wife of Abia State governor, Nkechi Ikpeazu said that the state was proud of Nwadinobi’s election to lead the women medical association and it was an honour to Abia people where she comes from.
The husband of the new president of the women medical international association Okey Nwadinobi expressed his happiness over the election of his wife to lead the global women medical association.
