NSCDC SEEKS NIGERIAN ARMY COLLABORATION ON TRAINING
The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has seek for the collaboration of the Nigerian Army in the area of Training and manpower Development. The Commandant General NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi made the appeal today 1 February 2022 when he led Senior officers of the Corps on a courtesy call to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya in Abuja.
The Commandant NSCDC commended the NA for maintaining excellent relationship with the Corps and assured COAS of his desire to cement on the already existing cordial relations between the Corps and the NA adding that such collaboration is vital in the face of the current security challenges.
He appealed for Nigerian Army (NA) assistance in the area of trainings even as he testified of benefited from military training in the past especially during his Junior and Senior Division Course noting that the training gave him more opportunities and upper hands among his pearls in the Corps.

While appreciating the NA for assisting in the training of Corps female squad in Kastina, he said the female squads are utilizing the lessons learnt from the NA on security to safeguard schools in the North West region and seeks for more support especially in provision of arms and ammunition.
Responding, the COAS, Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya assured the Commandant General NSCDC of NA’s continuous collaboration and support.
The COAS commended the Corps for their committed spirit in security of live and properties of the citizens in the country and urged them not to relent. The highlights of the visit were presentations of souvenirs and group photographs.
