NSE: Equity Capitalization gained N83.17 Billion, Market Indicators closed blue

Trading on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Tuesday ended in an impressive note as the equity capitalization gained Eighty-three point one-seven billion naira.

A rise on the share prices of DANGOTE CEMENT and MTN Nigeria anchored the gain with over Nine Hundred and Thirty -Three million and one hundred and seven point Seven-Five worth of shares respectively.

All the market indicator, the market capitalization, The All Share Index, the volume, the value and the total deals closed blue.

Market capitalization rose from Twenty Point One-Seven Trillion on Monday, to Twenty Point Two-Five Trillion, an Eighty-Three Point One-Seven Billion naira gain.

The All Share Index points similarly closed at Thirty-Eight Thousand, Seven Hundred and Twenty Point Eight- Four Points Thirty-Eight Thousand, Five Hundred and Sixty- One Point Eight –Four Points this was a Zero Point Four-One percent rise.

The volume of traded stocks also rose from One Hundred and Eighty-Four Point Five Million traded on Monday, to Two Hundred and Twenty Point Eight Five Million shares on Tuesday, a Nineteen Point Six Eight percent increase.

The value similarly to Four Point Two Billion naira, from Two Point Five Billion naira on Tuesday.

There were Eleven gainers with GUINESS topping the chart. Other gainers were REGALINS, JAIZ BANK and VITAFOAM.

However, WAPIC and AFRICAN PRUDENTIAL PLC dominated the losers’ chart among other twenty losers.
