The floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange witnessed a surge in all the market indicators at the close of business on Tuesday.
All the five indicators, The Market Capitalization, All Share Index, the volume, the value, and the total deals closed blue.
The market Capitalization rose from twenty point nine -nine -four trillion naira to twenty-one point six -nine trillion naira, a seventy-five point nine billion naira gain.
The All Share Index also closed at forty thousand, two hundred and ninety- five point nine-five points, an increase from forty thousand one hundred and fifty point seven eight points at the close of trading on Monday.
The volume of stocks transacted on the floor rose from three hundred and thirty-five point six nine- nine million, to one point one six -six million. This was a two hundred and forty- seven point Four six percent
The value also rose to seven point nine-six -nine billion naira from two point four -eight -nine billion, a two hundred and twenty point one percent increase.
On the performance chart, NASCON PLC was the highest gainer among other forty-one gainers, while OANDO led the twenty laggards.
ARDOVA was the toast of investors, trading over twelve point eight- two- five million shares, valued at two hundred and forty-seven point seven -two -three million naira.
