NSE: Investors lost N16.84 billion as price of Access Bank share and 21 others fall.

At the close of trading on the floor of The Nigerian Stock Exchange on Tuesday, Investors lost Sixteen Point Eight Four Billion naira, after a Thirty-Nine Point Five-Three Five-billion-naira Loss On Monday.

The loss was driven by a fall in the price of ACCESS BANK share, and ten other companies.

The equity capitalization consequently fell to Twenty-One Point Four-Seven-Four Trillion Naira from Twenty-One Point Four-Nine trillion naira, a Sixteen Point Eight-Four-Billion-naira loss

All Share Index also fell from Forty-One Thousand, Eighty-Two Point Three –Eight Points to Forty-One Thousand, Fifty-One Point Six-Two Points, a zero point seven percent decline.

The number of shares that was traded on the floor was Five Hundred, and Twenty-Five Point Six valued at Five Point Three-Three-Seven billion naira.

On the performance side, ZENNITH equity was the most traded trading Twenty-Eight Point Five-Two-Four Million Shares Valued at Seven Hundred and Forty-Five Point Nine-Nine Three naira.

ACCESS BANK stood behind ZENNITH, trading Nineteen Point Three-Four- One Million Shares

WAPIC PLC gained most among other Forty- Three gainers while JAPAUL GOLD PLC toped the losers side.
