The International Nurses week has ended in UNTH Ituku Ozalla Enugu with a call on nurses to keep up with the good work they are doing to humanity.
The Chief Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Cyril Keleze made the call at the grand finale of their a week long event.
Mr. Keleze also called for training and retraining of nurses for more efficiency.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Director Nursing Services, UNTH Enugu, Mrs. Chinwe Anthonia Achukwu expressed satisfaction at the turn out of the event, noting that this is one of its kind in five years.
Mrs. Achukwu urged nurses not to lose focus on the essence of their existence and calling by putting in their best as healthcare givers.
She also called on the public not to prejudge nurse but give them maximum corporation to serve them better.
Another nurse per excellent, Mrs. Ijeoma Judith Ilo, who spoke on theme of the celebration, Nurses: A Voice to Lead, advised Nurses to always bring up ideas that will help them in the discharge of their duty.
The grand finale at UNTH featured, beauty pageant, match pass, carnival and more.
