NWFL: Ebi bags assist in Naija Ratels’ defeat to Nasarawa Amazons
Super Falcons captain, Onome Ebi bagged an assist in Naija Ratels matchday one 3-2 defeat against Nasarawa Amazons in the Nigeria Women’s Football League.
The encounter was played at the Aguyi Ironsi Mini Stadium, Abuja.
Ebi assisted Davis in scoring the consolation goal for the Abuja-based club.
The game was the 40-year-old defender’s debut appearance for Naija Ratels.
Ojiyovwi Kesiena opened the scoring for the Amazons in the 41st minute before a double from Ayatsea Hambafan in the added minutes of the first half.
Ekiti Queens and Delta Queens played a goalless draw in the 2023-24 NWFL opener at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti on Tuesday.
