Orji Kalu still in custody three days after Supreme Court judgement
The Senator representing Abia North in the Nigerian Senate and former Governor of Abia State, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu has still not be released from prison three days after the Supreme Court quashed his conviction by a Federal High Court.

According to sources close to NCS High Command, the judgement refers to Kalu’s co accused who approached the Supreme Court
The Senate Minority Leader’s lawyers are said to be working on the papers for his release. Whether their effort to secure the release of their client is at the Supreme Court or at any other court is not clear.
However sources close to Kalu told signaturetv.org that they are optimistic he will be freed soon following the Supreme Court judgement.
