Oyegun, Oshiomhole others apointed members Edo APC campaign council
This was contained in a statement signed by the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Yekini Nabena, in Abuja, on Thursday.
Yabana said the setting up of the council “followed the approval for the constitution of a National Campaign Council for the 19th September, 2020 Governorship Election, by the National Chairman of the APC Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee, H.E. Mai Mala Buni.
“The campaign council will be inaugurated on Monday, 6th July 2020 at the Party’s National Secretariat. “
However many political pundits are wondering how two sworn political opponents, Oyegun and Oshiomhole will work together as they belong to different political camps in the upcoming contentious Edo elections.
While Oyegun supports incumbent Edo Governor, Godwin Obaseki who has moved over to the PDP, Oshiomhole supports APC candidate Ize Iyamu.
