Presidency Lambasts Obi Over Exit From ADC

The Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga, has criticised former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi over his confirmation of his exit from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In a post shared on social media on Sunday, Onanuga described Obi’s actions as a continuation of what he called a pattern of political inconsistency, suggesting that the former Anambra State governor frequently shifts positions.

He further criticised Obi’s political strategy, alleging that he avoids strong competition within party structures, describing him as an opportunistic fellow who cannot fight Atiku Abubakar or Rotimi Amaechi for the ticket.

Onanuga also accused Obi of deflecting blame, claiming that he often criticises the government without engaging in self-assessment.
