Stakeholders, youths, and Aspirants of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Isi Uzo Local Government Area have rejected the result of the just concluded bye-election for the post of the state house of Assembly in ISI UZO LGA.
The APC members in the council, youths, and stakeholders in a bid to register their grievances staged a protest at the office of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), saying that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in collaboration with the INEC Stole their mandate, unleashed violence on the APC members
The APC aspirant for the Isi Uzo constituency, Ejiofor Okwo hinted at the factors that inspired their protest which includes the role of the INEC during the poll.
Our correspondent Michael Ilediagu reports that at the point of filling this report, he was unable to get the reactions of the PDP chairman in Enugu state, Augustine Nnamani, or the response of the INEC boss in Enugu state, Mr. Emeka Ononanmadu.
