Rainstorm destroys 50 houses, electric poles in Kwara
On Thursday, barely 24 hours after fire gutted 30 shops in Oro, rainstorm has destroyed a number of houses in Oro, Iludun Oro and Esie in Irepodun Local Government of Kwara State.
The rainstorm also pulled down electric poles, thus throwing the communities into darkness.
The areas affected in Oro include St. Andrews Church, Abegun compound, Balogun square, and it was learnt that the roof of a house belonging to a Shina Afolabi, done a day earlier, was blown off by the rainstorm.
