Signature TV is partnering MacArthur Foundation, to Launch Corruption Tori Season 2

Signature Communications Ltd, content providers for Africa Independent Television AIT ,NTA and some state television stations in Nigeria kicked off activities to launch Season 2 of its anti-corruption programme, Corruption Tori at the weekend.
At the International Center for Investigative Reporting in Abuja, the company pulled together experts in journalism, communication and development, to design a production model for Season 2 of Corruption Tori.
Corruption Tori, supported by MacArthur Foundation and produced by Signature TV is one of many efforts to tackle the challenge of corruption in Nigeria.
By its nature, Nigeria’s corruption challenge seems to be found mostly among politically exposed persons or the elite, however, the fight to eradicate it has become a national struggle which requires collective efforts.

One of the experts on investigative journalism Anayochukwu Agbo who spoke at the event, reminded the participants that exposing corruption could be hazardous  and tempting as those being exposed or investigated could fight back or seek to compromise the reporter.
The Chief Executive Officer of  Signature Communications Ltd, VinMartin Obiora Ilo who traced the journey of the organisation in producing and airing Corruption Tori, said the task of fighting corruption also requires showcasing those Nigerians who have either stood against or refused to be compromised by corruption.
Signature Communications Ltd will flag-off Season 2 of its Corruption Tori programme which airs on the network service of AIT,  NTA Partner Stations across the country and online on Wednesday June 23, 2021.
Season 2 goes on air on July 4, 2021.
