Sim Registration: Nigerians Disturbed as NIMC Portal Is Temporarily Down.
Nigerians trying to complete SIM Registrations and swaps across the country have been facing difficulty due to the unavailability of the National Identity Management Commission’s NIN verification Service (NVS) portal
Service Provider, MTN Nigeria said the NIMC application is currently unavailable, promising to inform users as soon as the portal starts working again
Meanwhile, in a statement on Saturday, the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) confirmed that the problem which it attributed is as a result of ongoing maintenance.
Meanwhile, the public can make use of the alternative Tokenization verification platform.”
