Soludo Swears In New Commissioner For Finance
Governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 swears in the newly appointed Commissioner for Finance, Mr, Okafor Moses Izuchukwu.
taking the oath at the Anambra State Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Awka. The Governor welcomed him to the Solution Team and maintained that even though Mr Izuchukwu Okafor is appointed to oversee the state ministry of finance, he should know that he has larger responsibilities which is beyond his ministry.
He commend him and other members of the state EXCO to reread their oath of office and allegiance once in a while to be able to reminded of what is expected of him from Ndi Anambra.
“I always commiserate because it is not an easy task, because the harvest is plenty but labourers are few, there will be a moment you will ask yourself, all the sacrifice, the efforts, is really worth it” He said.
He reiterated that their calling is for public service, to serve Ndi Anambra and to lay the foundation for a livable, smart, secured and prosperous Anambra.
