THAI ‘MOST WANTED’ FUGITIVE ARRESTED IN INDONESIA’S BALI

Indonesian authorities are expected to deport a Thai fugitive dubbed as the nation’s “Most Wanted” on Tuesday after arresting him in the resort island of Bali late last month.

According to authorities, Chaowalit Thongduang, who had been hiding in Indonesia for seven months, was involved in a drug trafficking ring based in Myanmar, murder of police officers, and shooting of court members in Thailand.

Reports say Thongduang entered Indonesia via sea route on a speedboat to North Sumatra, using a fake identity, he posed as an Indonesian man named Sulaiman aided by ring members.
