Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has declared his support for Kylian Mbappe after he missed a penalty in the 2-0 defeat at Liverpool.
Mbappe had the chance to equalize from 12 yards in the Champions League, after Alexis MacAllister had opened the scoring.
But the 25-year-old saw his weak effort saved by Caoimhin Kelleher.
Mohamed Salah also blasted his penalty wide, before Cody Gakpo went on to double Liverpool’s advantage from a corner-kick.
Speaking after the game, Ancelotti said: “Mbappé has all of our support and he will soon turn the situation around.
“Mbappé is an extraordinary player, we must be patient. He’s doing well and adapting well. We are with him.”
