We will build Labour into a trusted party in Imo state – AIG Ugomuoh
One of the contestants in the Labour Party governorship primary in Imo state, rtd AIG Charles Ugomuoh has promised to work towards building the party into a trusted platform in Imo state.
Ugomuoh was speaking at a thank- you gathering organized to appreciate those who supported him during the primary election which produced senator Athan Achonu as the Labour Party flag bearer in the November election.
Senator Athan Achonu who was at the event promised to change the concept of government in the state from opportunity to loot to a call to serve.
He dismissed news in the social media that he is a mole planted by incumbent governor Hope Uzodimma to scuttle the chances of Labour in the election, describing it as cheap propaganda.
AIG Ugomuoh explained that in any contest, there must be a winner and as members of a political family, those who did not win must rally their support in the interest of the party.
