Chairman of the economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa while addressing Staff the Port Harcourt Zonal Office of EFCC on Thursday has threatened that the commission will sanction those who go against the agency code of conducts while carrying out their investigative duties
Bawa who charged leaders of EFCC to enforce the law as expected said they will be investigated and charged to court when found wanting. He encouraged leaders of the Commission to uphold ‘’courage, integrity and professionalism which are the core values of the Commission”
He further tasked every Zone to take EFCC to the next level, stressing the need to take responsibility for their actions and inaction, just as he assured the Staff of the Commission of equal welfare and placement opportunities.
The Chairman also stated that a well-articulated career path was for every staff of the commission and the Standard Operation Procedure SOP would be institutionalized.
Bawa said every team member was important and stressed the need for teamwork while warning that any kind of dichotomy or deliberate mistake will not be tolerated.
