“Your Key responsibility as a parent is to ensure you arm your children with wisdom”, the principal of Bellanadia School Abuja, charges parents on their children.
Mrs Chinasa Edache, Principal of Bellanadia School, Mpape, Abuja, says parents are overwhelmed with the sense of fulfillment when their children turn out to be wise.
Speaking at the end of term event titled “An Evening of Theater” she said adults are proud when they look back and their past is chronicled with choices they made guided by wisdom.
According to her, the school observed that there are young talents among the students and that prompted the event.
“The crux of it started when we noticed there are children who have these natural talents so we decided that as long as it lies with us to ensure that children come out the best of their kind we will do so. This is an opportunity to see what the children can do, let it not stay there; so we used the opportunity to see what the children can do and it’s been amazing”.
At The Evening of Theater, varieties of performing artistry were showcased by the Performing Art Club, ranging from dance, school choir presentation, drama, singing, and stand-up comedy.
The school launched a new book titled As Foolish As We Are inspired by the foolishness of the youth who are desperate to make fortune through all means by defrauding people.
The author of the book, Godwin, said the book was inspired by a true life story of a young man who is desperate to make fortune through all means and ended up being foolish.
According to him, attaining financial height takes time and patience, regretting that many youths want to be rich in a quick way.
Parents, staff, friends and well wishers were present to watch the talented students display their talents.
