#WizkidAt30: Nigerians Celebrate Wizkid On His 30th Birthday
Nigerians have taken to their various social media accounts to celebrate award winning Nigerian singer, Wizkidayo as he clocks 30 today.
Tweeting with the hashtag, “WizkidAt30”, many Nigerians congratulated the singer, while highlighting his achievements in his music career.
Born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun on 16 July 1990, in Surulere, Lagos.
He grew up in an interfaith household with twelve female siblings.
Mother is a Christian and his father practices Islam.
Wizkid started singing at the age of 11 with the stage name “Lil Prinz” after which he formed a group “Glorious five.”
In 2006, he changed his name from “Lil Prinz” to Wizkid leading to his first chance at the spotlight in 2009 when he featured on M.I Abaga’s song “Fast Cars”.
To celebrate his great day, Wizkid returned with a brand new banger titled “Smile” featuring American singer H.E.R.
This new single is Wizkid’s first record in 2020 and taken off his anticipated ‘Made In Lagos’ album.

American rapper Offset has gifted his 2-year-old daughter Kulture, a Birkin $16,250 (N6m) bag for her birthday.
In a clip Offset posted on his Instagram page, Offset doted over his adorable daughter as he gave her the pricey bag, while his wife Cardi B recorded.
In the clip, Offset was clad in a white top with black pants and a black cap while the toddler wore a pink ruffled dress with a tiara and butterfly wings as her dad presented her with the expensive pink purse.

Lake Retba or “Lac Rosa” in Senegal is one of the rich-algae sources in Africa. Lac Rosa, as it is understood from the name, is rose or pink in color because of the abundant halophilic archaea and “Dunaliella salina” micro-algae concentrations.
The algae produces a red pigment to assist in absorbing light, which provides energy to create ATP.
The color is particularly visible during the dry season (from November to June) and is less visible during the rainy season (July to October).
