“You are a role model”,Mrs Ikpeazu tells new President Medical Women International Association.

It was a night of tributes for newly elected President of Medical Women International Association (MWIA) Dr Eleanor Nwadinobi, when friends and associates gathered to honour her at a reception in Abuja.

Describing her as a role model, wife of the Abia State Governor Mrs Ngozi Ikpeazu extolled Dr Nwadinobi’s virtue of selfless service and hardwork which she said continues to distinguish her in her chosen career.

She said her election as the first Nigerian President of MWIA has brought honour not only to Nigeria but to Abia State where she hails from.

Mrs Ikpeazu who expressed gratitude to God for her achievements urged the new President to remain a good ambassador of Nigera at all times especially throughout her tenure.

In her speech Dr Aisha Umaru, the Chairperson of MWAN, FCT Chapter congratulated Dr Nwadinobi on her election saying that it has put Nigeria on the global map and will yield a lot of dividends for the country.

Other speakers who spoke at the event prayed God to grant Dr Nwadinobi a successful tenure and wisdom to deliver on her promises and make Nigeria proud.

Dr Eleanor Nwadinobi in her response expressed appreciation to to all for the reception and promised to serve with humility and fear of God.

The reception which was hosted by Professor and Dr Lawson had in attendance many personalities including the Minister for Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen and former Governor of Anambra State Mr Peter Obi.

The occasion ended with the cutting of the cake and dancing by the new President and guests.
