Youth Leader Calls For Collaboration In Tackling Insecurity In The North-West

The Former Vice-president of the National Youth Council in Nigeria’s Northwest region, Doctor Abdulrahman Manga has called for close collaboration between security agencies and relevant stakeholders to curb the insecurity in the country.

Manga made that statement when he featured on Signature Morning, a flagship program on signature TV. 

He observed that the high level of banditry, kidnapping in the Northwest part of Nigeria is largely fueled by poverty, ignorance and unemployment.

The youth leader disclosed that perpetrators of crime in the area come from Niger Republic and made a case for the establishment of military bases at various border towns in the region.

He advised Nigerians against taking the law into their hands or engaging in violence or jungle justice insisting that they must always allow the law to take its course.
