NPF APPREHENDS 40 KIDNAPPERS IN NASARAWA

Bola Longe, the Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police while speaking at a state security meeting with traditional rulers and local government chairmen in Lafia on Monday said that the Nigeria Police Force NPF has apprehended 40 suspected kidnappers in the state.

Those arrested included those who kidnapped some FRSC officials along Mararaba-Udege road who were traveling from Sokoto and Kebbi to attend a training program in Abuja during September last year.

 The Police Commissioner said some of the abducted FRSC officials have come from Sokoto and Abuja to identify the culprits and said they will be prosecuted assuring cooperation among security agencies to improve the security atmosphere of the state.
