AFCON: Kelechi Iheanacho names two things Nigeria will do in next game

Nigerian forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, who also scored the only goal of the match as Nigeria defeated Egypt on Tuesday, said that the Super Eagles will pick up ‘the pieces and convert their chances in their next 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, tie.

Nigeria will take on Sudan in their next 2021 AFCON fixture on Saturday at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium, Garoua.

Speaking to reporters in the mixed zone after the game against Egypt, the Leicester City star said that he feels great and buzzing about getting the goal for Super Eagles, admitting that they failed to convert some chances in the second half of the game.

He said that Nigeria’s Super Eagle is always a confident team, with intelligent group of players, vibrant and strong who work together as a team.

Augustine Eguavoen’s side heads to the game after beating Egypt 1-0 in their first game on Tuesday evening.
