Apollo Crews promotes Nigerian culture, accent at WWE Fastlane

A WWE supper star, Sesugh Uhaa also known as Apollo Crews appeared at the Fastlane on Sunday displaying Nigerian culture and accent to the world.

The wrestler who recently claimed allegiance to Nigeria when he revealed his real identity while raging against an opponent, was dressed in green white green.

The 33-year-old whose parent hailed from Benue State has continued to gain attention from entire Africans who are fans of the entertainment show.

Apollo Crews has always been one of WWE’s best in-ring talents since he joined the industry seven years back.

Apollo while speaking in Tiv accent, said, “It’s only been a couple of weeks, but a lot has happened in that amount of time,” Crews says.

“I have the right character, one that gives me purpose. There is real history here, too, bringing my Nigerian heritage to our TV. It’s going to be different from anything you see.

“I am really grateful for this opportunity, and I’m giving people everything to the best of my ability. I can’t wait to see where it goes next.”

“This is who I am, this is how I talk, I am a descendant of Nigerian royalty. I am a real African American”.
