Davido: Dangote lives modestly despite wealth

Grammy-nominated singer Davido has opened up about the modest lifestyle of Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.

Speaking in a recent interview, Davido said Dangote has given him the same financial advice since childhood: save his money.

“Whenever I see Uncle Aliko, he always tells me, ‘David, save your money, save your money.’ He has been telling me the same thing since I was a baby,” Davido said.

The singer also revealed that, despite his vast wealth, Dangote lives simply.

“The crazy thing to me is how normal they live their lives,” he said.

Davido said Dangote’s discipline and humility show that immense wealth doesn’t have to change a person.
