Unindentified number of suspected thugs have snatched ballot boxes in Akwuke polling unit and community primary school mgbogodo both in Agbani, Enugu state, disrupting the governorship and state assembly election taking place today.
An eye witness who confirmed the incident told Signaturetv that the thugs arrived the voting units with weapons scaring voters away as they made away with the ballot boxes.
The police are reported to have arrested some of the thugs and recovered the ballot buses and voting has recommenced.
