Labour Party Facilitates Online Voter Registration

To assist in resolving the challenge which prospective voters encounter getting registered online to obtain the permanent voter card, Labour party in Gwagwa ward of the Federal Capital Territory, has converted its office as an online registration center.

Last Thursday, when the registration centre opened the party office turned into a mini-carnival of enthusiastic voters from all walks of life, warranting the facilitator of the registration exercise, Sharon Chukwuobasi to commend INEC for extending the deadline for the voters’ registration exercise.

Chairman of Labour Party in Gwagwa ward, Ken Okoro called on Nigerian youth to make it their civic responsibility to obtain their voter cards which they must deploy as their power to vote-in the government of their choice in 2023.

Some volunteers, who were assisting participants in the process to either transfer from previous registration areas to new ones or completing the online registration process complained that a number of the participants were providing information which were at variance with what is contained in the INEC registration portal, slowing the process.
