Trading in the Nigerian Equity market on Tuesday closed blue as market capitalization grew by One Hundred and Ninety -Nine Point Four –Nine billion naira.
Performance on Monday was also an improvement against Friday.
On Tuesday, the market capitalization maintained the positive position, increasing from eighteen point two -two trillion naira to eighteen point four -two trillion, a one point one percent increase.
The All Share Index also rose to Thirty-Five Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty-Five Point Two- Two, From Thirty-Four Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty-Three Point Four -Four A One Point One Zero Percent Rise.
The total number of stock traded closed at Two Hundred and Sixty-Four Point Two Five, which is valued at Two Point Nine Five billion naira.
The activity chart showed that ZENITH BANK was the toast of investors among others, trading Twenty-Three Point Four-Two Million shares valued at Five Hundred and Thirty-Eight Point Six Three million naira
 GUARANTEE TRUST BANK followed by trading five point five -nine shares, with the total value of One Eighty-Nine Point Zero Six million naira.
LASACO PLC was the top gainer among other forty-two gainers on the chart, while VANLEER topped the losers side.
