Ondo 2020: PDP bars non delegates from primary venue
The opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ondo has banned non-party delegates from the International Culture and Event Centre, venue of the party primary scheduled for Wednesday.
The party said only delegates, aspirants’ agents, journalists and security personnel would be allowed into the event centre, generally referred to as the Dome.
A statement by the Caretaker Chairman of the party, Clement Faboyede, warned delegates not to wear any campaign materials to the venue.

The caretaker chairman warned that there will be no loitering or gathering around the venue and urged all delegates to come with their INEC Permanent Voters Card, PVC to the venue of the party primary.
“These instructions are given to ensure the smooth conduct of the primaries.
“All members are advised to watch/listen to the proceedings via accredited television and radio platforms,” he said.
