The Nigerian Stock Exchange witnessed another fall in the volume of stocks traded on the floor of exchange on Wednesday. The volume of stock traded fell to 286,446,480.00 from 336,094,248.00 traded on Tuesday. This was a 0.14% reduction in the volume of stocks.
The value also declined to 3,094,793,795.23 naira from, 3,890.424,285, a 25.70% drop.
However, the All Share Index appreciated by 0.03%, rising from 30,733 to 30,741.88 in a total deal of 2,889.00.

CAP PLC led other 23 gainers on the chart, with its share price appreciating by 7 kobo, a 3.13% increase
Other top gainers include; FIRST CITY MONUIMENT BANK, GUARANTY TRUST BANK, DANGOTE SUGAR and CAVERTON.
FIRST CITY MONUMENT BANK gained 15 kobo on its share price. The share traded at 2.9 naira on Tuesday but 3.05 naira on Wednesday, a 5.17% increase.
GUARANTY TRUST BANK gained 1 kobo closing at 32.1naira from 32 naira per share traded on Tuesday.
DANGOTE SUGAR share price also rose to 15.5 naira from 15.4, a 1kobo gain and a 0.64% increase, while CAVERTON recorded a 3.68% increase with its share price moving to 1.97 naira from 1.7.
JULIUS BERGER was on top of the loser’s chart among 11 other losers. Its share price went down by 45 kobo share, a decrease from 17.5 naira to 17.05.
Other top losers include, GLAXOSMITHKLINE CONSUMERS NIG. PLC. ECOBANK TRANSNATIONAL INC, FBN HOLDINGS PLC, and UNION BANK OF NIGERIA
