The Minister of Labour and Employment says many have lost their lives since the inception of the ongoing strike by doctors. He said this during his address, adding that Doctors are very important in society.
The meeting which held today and was kicked off by 4:30 pm was attended by Ministers of other Relevant Government Agencies.
He also noted that the meeting will focus on the memorandum of action signed during the previous meeting.
According to him, it’s expected that every agency that is involved in one way or the other to implement the memorandum of action and has failed to do so will be given a matching order.
He also pleaded with the striking doctors to return to their duties so as to preserve the lives of Nigerians who have been suffering from the challenges posed by the Covid 19 pandemic.
