Uniport student slumps, dies after exams
Authorities of the University of Port Harcourt, have denied that a final year student of Animal Science’s Department who recently passed away died on campus.
In a statement in Port Harcourt, the Public Relations Officer of the university, Sammy Kpenu, said it was wrong for anyone to insinuate that the student died on the school campus when her death occurred five days after she concluded her exams and went home.
A controversy had arisen over where the student’s death took place, following a post by someone in social media that Gloria died while still on campus.
It has since been revealed that the deceased slumped at home on Tuesday, April 6th and was rushed to the hospital where she died.
