Gunmen Kidnap Ekiti Local Government Supervisor
Barely a week after the monarch of Ekiti State was abducted by gunmen who invaded his palace, gunmen have kidnapped an All Progressives Congress chieftain, Ebenezer Busuyi who is a local government supervisor in Ekiti State.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Sunday Abutu, confirmed on Thursday evening that Busuyi, who is the Supervisor for Agriculture in Ekiti West local government area while driving towards a town within the local government Erijiyan Ekiti, was kidnapped.
Abutu said Busuyi’s car was left by the roadside as he was taken away by the abductors. The PPRO assured the public that the state police command will ensure the rescue of the politician and sustain efforts to rid the state of kidnappers and other criminals.
