Detained Arthur Eze Nephews Olisa Eze and Onyeka Eze have left prison with the intervention of Dr Chris Ngige, Minister of Labour and Employment.
The two relatives of the Billionaire business man had been charged to court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for theft and money laundering at two different courts in Abuja, the Federal High Court and FCT High Court.

When all efforts by friends, relatives and dignitaries to settle the matter proved abortive, the boys had proceeded to FCT High Court Gudu where they secured an Order of the court for their release. The said Order by Justice Belgore was not obeyed.
On the 23rd of Dec. 2020 the FCT High Court Maitama granted bail to the accused however after perfection of the bail conditions the operatives of the EFCC immediately re-arrested them outside FCT High Court Maitama stating that they still had an action against them at the Fed. High Court Abuja.
On the 24th of Dec. 2020 they were arraigned at the Fed. High Court Abuja, but were subsequently denied bail and were remanded at the Suleja Prisons and the matter adjourned to 5th Jan. 2021.

The duo who were eventually granted bail by the Federal High Court on the 5th of January 2021 were unable to meet their bail conditions and had remained at the Suleja Correctional facility.

However the intervention of Ngige who may have been motivated by his strained relationship with Arthur changed the equation.
SignatureTV learnt that Ngige using his influence made it possible for the bail conditions to be met and the court processes fast tracked, leading to their freedom very late Friday night.

It was further revealed that the Minister sent a convoy of cars to Suleja to convey the suspects to the city where their bail was concluded and they were set free.
Their release triggered an all night celebration by the free men, their friends and family.
